Ingredients

  • 4 Slices Sunbake Sliced White Bread
  • 2 Eggs
  • 125 ml Milk
  • 1 ml Vanilla essence
  • 9 Marshmallows, quartered
  • Nutella
  • 1 tbls Butter or oil for frying
  • Chocolate sauce, strawberries and ice cream to serve

Directions

In a wide bowl, beat eggs, milk and vanilla together. Generously spread one side of each bread slice with Nutella. Onto 2 of these slices, arrange marshmallows with their cut side facing up. Now briefly dip these 2 slices into the egg mixture, making sure to dip the side that has no Nutella or marshmallows on it.

Heat butter in a large pan over a medium heat. Place the marshmallow bread slices egg-side down in the pan to cook. While these are cooking, briefly dip the other 2 slices into the egg mixture, making sure to dip the side that has no Nutella on it. Now place these 2 slices, Nutella-side down, on top of the marshmallow breads which are already in the pan, to form a sandwich.

Cook for about 1-2 mins, until the underside is golden brown, then carefully flip the sandwich and cook the other side until golden. Serve immediately, topped with sliced strawberries, ice cream and chocolate sauce.
