- 8 slices Sunbake white and/or brown bread
- 60ml melted butter
- 100g or 8 large slices of mozzarella cheese (using half smoked provolone is also delicious here)
- 8 slices of ham
- Salt and freshly
ground pepper to taste
Spread one side of each bread slice with the melted butter. Turn the bread over so butter side is now down.
Cover half the bread with half the cheese slices, top with ham and cover with remaining cheese – seasoning before finishing with the remaining bread slices. The butter side should be on the outside.
Place the sandwiches in a preheated hot sandwich toaster and toast until golden.
