Hot Cross Bun Recipe
Ingredients
6 Sunbake Hot Cross Buns
4 eggs, at room temperature
1/3 cup caster sugar
500 ml cream
Directions
Preheat: Oven to 160°C.
Prep buns: Halve and chop hot cross buns.
Whisk & soak: Mix eggs, sugar and cream. Soak buns for 5 mins.
Arrange & bake: Place in a dish, dip bun tops, bake for 15 mins covered, then 10–15 mins uncovered until set.
Decorate & serve: Add Easter eggs, dust with icing sugar, and enjoy!
